Continuing with their quest to take electric flight ever-forward E-flite is proud to introduce their latest dual-purpose electric flyer, the outstanding Carbon-Z-Splendor BNF basic. Not only is this their largest Carbon-Z airplane to date with a generous wingspan of 1384mm (54.5inch), it is also the most technologically advanced.
Designed by F3A World Champion Quique Somenzini the Splendor features AS3X automated 3-axis stabilisation system for improved smoothness during aerobatic flight. It is also the first to feature Carbon-Z construction in the fuselage in addition to that used in the wings.
The power system has been tuned to the specific recommendations of Quique Somenzini himself and consists of a 60 amp Pro Switch Mode BEC brushless ESC designed to handle the high servo current demanded by the system, and a 50-size 525Kv brushless outrunner motor. The Spektrum AR635 receiver with built-in AS3X also features, assisting with the delivery of ultimate precision during F3A manoeuvres as well as artistic 3D and Freestyle flight. Digital mini-high-speed precision servos are also included and these provide quicker response time and crisper control throughout any and every style of flying.
Recommended power source is a 6S LiPo battery (EFLB32006S30 - sold separately). Coupled with the customised propeller the entire system achieves outstanding aerobatic performance.
